Assoc. Dr. Mehmet ÇELİKBİLEK graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2002. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Başkent University Hospital in 2008. After completing his Gastroenterology education in Erciyes University Gastroenterology Department in 2012, he continued his academic life at Bozok University as a lecturer. During this period, he established the Gastroenterology Department and the Endoscopy unit. He continued as the head of the Department of Internal Medicine and the founding head of the Department of Gastroenterology until 2016. Since this period, he has been working in his private practice.

He attended many courses and meetings. He has published over 100 articles and papers in international and national journals, books and conferences. His publications were cited in over 350 scientific articles. He translated the esophagus, stomach and intestinal bleeding section of Current Intensive Care Diagnosis and Treatment. Having held various positions (editor of the editorial board, member of the advisory board and referee) in twelve scientific journals, he received the title of Associate Professor in 2014. Mehmet ÇELİKBİLEK is fluent in English. He is married and has two children.
